My philosophy to teaching this great game of golf is a simplistic approach. I try to make everything as simple as I can while getting everything out of their physical capabilities. I am not the type of teacher that likes to get too technical with my students unless I really have too. As a teacher I like to teach cause and effect of what they are doing right and wrong. I help them learn and explain to them that if they do something one way the result will usually end up working in their favor.
I’ve studied the best PGA Professionals teach, my mentor the late Gene Borek (PGA Master Professional) was the best at getting the message across to each of his students. I’ve learned so much from watching hundreds of his lessons as well as educating myself with a personal library of over 150 instructional books dating back to the early 50’s which include readings from Jones, Toski, Hogan etc..
In today’s age I’m still adapting to the new modern swing with the help of using the latest video analysis software, this way I can get my point across much sooner and the student learns so much faster. In closing it makes me feel so good when a student comes in from playing great and excited about their game. This is why I love to teach this great game GOLF.
