How a Pre-Round Warm-Up Could Result In Lowering Your Scores

When you’re planning to play golf most us don’t have time to stretch or hit a bucket of balls beforehand.  It’s a pivotal step in golf to do some form of stretching before every round, just watch the pros and you’ll see that they warm-up at least an hour before they tee off. This pre-round routine gives their bodies the best chance to perform and shoot low scores. Back in 2003 when I was preparing to compete in the New York State Open, before the round I decided that it would be a good idea to go to one of the stretching tables and get worked on by one of the personal trainers. This was the best thing I had done, my swing never felt so smooth. I believe that to play good golf you must warm-up properly. I started to follow the steps of 5 minutes to Tee-Time; the results were instant in sense that my body was not tight and I could really swing the club freely and without effort.  I love the idea that in 5 minutes I could get physically ready to play golf, my body just felt relax and most important  my range of motion was tremendous. If anyone wants to increase their chance of lowering their scores I highly recommend 5 minutes to Tee-Time.  Remember golf is a game of range of motion and most amateurs lack in that department.  Just try it once and I guarantee you that you will feel better and hopefully shooting lower scores.
